Certifications & Compliance

Matcha Certifications & Product Scope

Understand which certification systems, batch records, testing files, and export documents may apply before you approve a matcha project.

Availability depends on the selected grade, production route, destination market, and requested claims. We confirm current documents for each project rather than treating certification logos as universal.

Certification Systems

Certification Support for Selected Matcha Projects

These systems cover different purposes. Food-safety certifications relate to manufacturing controls, while organic standards apply only to qualified certified-organic products and supply routes.

Beyond Certification Logos

Certification Is Not the Same as Batch Evidence

Keep the certificate holder, covered site or activity, product scope, issuer and validity together in the supplier file. Match that scope to the proposed order; a certification logo does not report the test results for the shipment lot.

Documentation Organized Around the Buyer’s Next Decision

The same certificate package does not work for every buyer. We align the document review with the product, market, claim, and purchasing model.

Importers & Distributors

Organize supplier documents for import review, vendor qualification, and repeat purchasing.

Private Label Brands

Align certification scope, product specifications, and intended claims before artwork approval.

Retail & Wellness Brands

Review organic status, testing needs, and supporting files for retailer or platform submissions.

Food & Beverage Manufacturers

Support corporate quality review with specifications, food-safety documents, and batch records.

Document Verification Process

Confirm the Right Files Before the Order Moves Forward

Sharing documents project by project reduces the risk of outdated files, mismatched certification scope, or claims that do not apply to the selected matcha.

01

Share the Project Scope

Tell us the destination market, intended product, claims, estimated quantity, and packaging format.

02

Confirm Applicable Documents

We identify which certifications, specifications, testing records, and export files may apply.

03

Review Current Files

Relevant documents are shared for buyer, quality, importer, or retailer review.

04

Approve Before Production

The product, claims, testing scope, and documentation route are aligned before the order is confirmed.

Certification FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask Before Reviewing Matcha Documents

Practical answers about certification scope, organic documents, batch records, testing reports, and packaging claims.

Can I download full certificates directly from the website?

Full certificate copies are normally shared upon request so the current document and the correct product scope can be confirmed for your project.

Are all certifications available for every matcha grade?

No. Availability depends on the selected matcha, production route, destination market, and requested claim. The applicable scope is confirmed before quotation or production.

Can you provide a Transaction Certificate for organic shipments?

Transaction Certificates can be arranged for qualified certified-organic shipments when required by the applicable certification route and destination market.

Do you provide batch COA and testing reports?

Available files may include a batch COA, product specification, microbiology, heavy metals, pesticide residues, and other project-specific testing records.

Can you help review packaging claims?

We can help align product documents with the proposed claims and packaging information. Final legal approval remains the responsibility of the brand, importer, or local regulatory adviser.

How do you make sure documents are current?

Documents are confirmed project by project before sampling, quotation, or production so buyers receive files that match the selected product and supply route.
